sat morning traffic in SJ

We are arriving a day early so that we can rent a car and drive from Marriott Stellas to Arecebo on a sat morning. If we leave around 8 am will we run into the infamous san juan traffic? Is the route to the highway easy to find? Thank you!

Weekends are generally good for traffic (exceptions: coming back to SJ late Sunday afternoon from the beach areas, the traffic can get a bit heavy, but Saturdays are normally not a problem). It's quite easy to get from Condado to PR-22 west, but the best thing will be to ask at the front desk so they can mark the route on a map. I think it'll be clearer than me trying to explain :)

Try taking a GPS is you have one. They typically come with the map of PR.
