2 for 1 dinner on Jewel and 'free' cocktail party question

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We sail in October and have a nice size group.

One of the group options is a free cocktail hour.

I don't recall past NCL cruise group amenities that we might have had so I have a question.

Is it all kinds of drinks? ( and how fast do they flow ;) )

I know on carnival any shot had to be on the rocks to count.

Question 2,

2 for 1 dinners. Anyone remember which night it was on?

I saw in a daily it was for le bistro, chin chin, tanjos and mamas between 530 and 630 pm.

A free dinner is another amenity that is an option. And I wanted to see when to plan what and when..

Thanks

No way to predict if there will be any 2 for 1's in Oct. The last several cruises we've been on with NCL have had none except for $5 off on Cagney's on the transatlantic Gem last Dec.

It all depends on the season, itinerary, demographics, etc. and there's no assurance there will be any. Even if you read here about a particular ship offering something, it might not be available same ship, different sailing.

Sounds like you have some nice group perks! No idea regarding what kind of drinks. A complimentary specialty dinner is great. Which one are you thinking of choosing for your group?

I don't remember any restrictions when we did this about 3 years ago, if fact it was a better cocktail party than we ever expected with great drinks and good snacks. Does this mean you can order JW Black, that I don't know.

True you will never know what they have in the works in Oct.

Last year I think they had the 2 for 1 deal and the 3 dinners for... $45? I think.

I think we will take the $$ and the cocktail party.

Has to be a better deal than then the choices we have to make with restaurants for the group. (than hope they have the above deals)

As of now we only have 4 point to play with so we don't get to pick all the restaurant options.

Le bistro, italian, asian are the only ones that would fill in the point gaps.

Cocktail parties are always good ;)
