After a long day in port I do like to play slots late at night - it's my version of relaxation..... Has anyone had luck winning big in the NCL Jade casino? Any suggestions on good slots and denominations?

We've won on Sun (.25 slot, 3 coins) and won $250. Friends on same cruise same night $1 slot paid $500.

We've won on Pearl, small wins of $100 here or there on 25 cent slot.

We've won on Jade, came out of casino ahead $100 or so.

The rest of their fleet didn't treat us so well.

First pull on the slot on the NCL Star paid us $15,000. First pull on a slot on the Gem paid me $3,000 on 6 months later.

My brother in law just won $6,000 on the NCL Dawn.

Can you guys come on my cruise and participate in our CC slot pull? :D

I didn't play the slots, but my nephew won $500 at the slots on the Jade last month. I was playing mostly blackjack. I came out even for the cruise but witnessed a woman who was at the tables day after day loosing hundres of dollars each day, $10 or $20 dollars at a time. She maybe won one out of every ten hands, but kept on playing.

Yes, the casino wins big on every slot machine that's played! :)

In general, payout percentages on games at sea (regardless of the cruise line) tend to be much lower than what you would see in a competitive gaming market (like Las Vegas). Same is true for video poker as well.

Some people have likened the typical onboard casino payouts to that of

local tribal gaming properties.

It's a captive audience, so they don't have to be as competitive on the payout percentages/paytables.
