Bermuda and the Swizzle Inn: What Makes this Place a Destination?

Recommended Posts

4 trips to Bermuda, and I've never made it here, but am always asked, "Did you go to the original Swizzle Inn?"

Um, no. But it has me thinking. Why do people want to go here? Food? Drink? Is it any different from a place like the Frog and Onion?

Is the new one any different from the original, or are they just trying to make you not have to go so far?

Atmosphere, the world's best 'Bangers 'n Mash' (IMO!), ice-cold Swizzles; just a good all-round fun pub...

Yes; Frog & Onion has its own atmosphere & setting, quite different from that at The Swizzle...

BOTH good fun places IMO... As is The Hog Penny & Pickled Onion...

Someone said the original is more atmospheric. It sounds like a fun place to have lunch. I've been experimenting with my own rum swizzle recipe so I'm curious what theirs actually tastes like.
