Personal Hairdryers on Dream

I sail out in less than 10 days! Yippee!!! :p But I am worried ( a shallow worry, I know!:rolleyes:) about my hairdryer getting confiscated. I am thinking of packing on in my suitcase and one in my carry on. Anyone get their hairdryers taken away when on the Dream lately?? Thanks!!!

Unless they appear to be a fire hazard, you can have your own dryer....most women bring their own...the ship's dryers simply aren't powerful!

• Personal grooming devices such as hair dryers, flat and curling irons, shavers, etc., are allowed on board when used with proper caution. These devices should not be used when other electrical appliances are plugged in. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark.

No problem getting mine on when we sailed the Dream in June. You should be fine if your dryer is in good shape.:)

Im bringing my hair dryer which is in great shape..We sail on the dream July 17 if for some reason they take it away, (not expecting that) we have a large group of friends and family coming along for our sons wedding, I can use one of theirs if I have to!
