Waiting for September Posted July 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2010 I just got this hotel for the night we get off the Serenade in September abd fly out of San Juan the next day. Has anyone stayed there recently? I got it on Priceline so not much I can do now but reviews sure are mixed.
KY Deb Posted July 20, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2010 I've not stayed there, but have eaten at their restaurant, Tangerine, which is very good and have gone to the night club on top of the building that is open air and has beds. The beach in front of the hotel is fabulous. It is a very art deco sort of place. For one night, I think you will be fine.
Waiting for September Posted July 20, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks for the reply. It is the day we get back and all I want to do is sit on the beach and relax and I hear the beach is wonderful. I only paid $75.00 before taxes so less than $100 for the night. Can't go too wrong. AmandaKaye79 Posted December 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Anyone have a more recent experience with this hotel? Just won on priceline for July 2013.
stones902 Posted December 31, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2012 We have stayed there a few times. Just love the place for couples. It's right on the beach and they have a wonderful bar on the roof. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place albeit a bit older is definitely "hip". All rooms are bathed in blue neon and they have waterfalls in the elevators. One caveat, the rooms are definitely smallish and the beds are placed in the middle of the room. I would recommend the property for couples but not families. We are sailing from SJ again in Nov and we'll be staying there again.
