slider9499 Posted August 24, 2010 #26 Share Posted August 24, 2010 Cruise: NCL Jewel Sailing Date: 9/4/10 Port: NYC We live in NYC and want to know if we are allowed to bring unopened bottles (standard size) of wine on board the ship when we first board the ship on Sept 4? If so, how many bottles each are we allowed?
garycarla Posted August 24, 2010 #27 Share Posted August 24, 2010 Dear slider: As discussed every 3.6 days here, the wine policy: You can bring wine, and pay a $15 per 750ml bottle. Does not matter where you drink it, or even if you do not. Your room, restaurant, whatever. No limit to number of bottles. If you do it in carryone (highly recmd), they will see it and direct you to a table where they charge you. If in your checked bags, and they see via xray, they hold your bag until you come and open it. Then they charge you. And by the way, you are on the EPIC message board. iceman2a Posted August 24, 2010 #28 Share Posted August 24, 2010 I don't know what "ripple" is, but Carlo Rossi is delicious... that's why I'd pay $35. :). Did you listen to the song ? "Top of the line wine, carlo rossi"... gotta be true! . Also, If you were to buy the 2 cheapest bottles on the ship you'd be $60 deep.... almost half price to swill the Rossi Ah! Ripple, Bone's Farm, Bali Hi, the crap I used to drink back in high school :D Probably the reason I don't drink wine any more!
