How far to main street shopping

I will be docking at the West Indian Company Dock. How far is that from the down town shopping area (main street)? Is it walking distance?

Many years back I think we docked here and we were able to walk down to the beginnning of the pier and there was a lot of shopping. I know i read that there is a shopping area right at this pier. But I was wondering how far to the downtown area.

They have created a great walkway that leads from the pier into town. It is a very nice walk and can be done in about 20-25 minutes at a nice pace.

Five minutes from Havensight is Yacht Haven Shopping area which is on the way to downtown.. There is also a tram that will take you to Yacht Haven.

Just a heads up................that 20-25 minute walk, is a very HOT 20-25 minutes walk. I almost melted.

thank you. i thought remembered walking there but it has been many years. MAybe I will get the taxi to drop us off there after the beach and just walk back to the ship.
