Thank you so much. Would you happen to know if they had keno machines in the casino? It is my favorite game of chance.

No, I didn't see Keno anywhere...plenty of slot machines....and video poker type.....about 20 'table' games'....roulette..craps...but no Keno.

My 'new favorite' is 3-card poker! I used to play BlackJack all the time...but how other players play, etc...really determines the 'outcome'...with 3-card poker...it's definitely 'luck of the draw'....and no real 'skill' involved :o I think why I like it so much now...is I can talk with the other players/dealer...and either play 'blind'...which means you simply place your bets and play whatever cards you're dealt (taking a chance, but fun)....or you take one quick look, to see if you want to play or not. Not a 'skill or experienced required' type of game! :)

You'll have FUN!!! ( and good luck :D)

thanks for the great detailed review. we board Splendor for our cruise on Oct. 17th - 24th.

One question I have though is there charge if you just want to use the gym?

I am not a spa person at all.. so that doesn't interest me. but the gym does.

I hope I don't have to pay the spa price just to use the gym.

thanks, AL

I'm not sure if there is a 'separate charge' for the use of the gym equipment. It is in the 'spa area', however completed separate....separated by glass walls, etc. You might do a 'search' on these boards or check on Carnival's website where more detailed spa info is listed. I remember seeing there that the spa is 22,000 sq ft in size!

Hope you find that answer...and HAVE FUN on your cruise
