cruisingirls Posted August 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2010 I have a friend who is going on a Carnival cruise and will be getting married in one of the ports of call. Can I order a gift to be sent to their stateroom on the day of the wedding? I know if I were going on the cruise this would not be an issue, I'm just not sure if it's possible to do it without being a passenger on the ship. Thanks! illinoismomof4 Posted August 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2010 you would need their booking number or the state room I believe
hunniebee724 Posted August 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2010 You can order a gift but I'm not sure you can have it sent on a specific day...someone else would be able to answer that. You just have to call the Bon Voyage dept and have the sail date and the ship.
cullensmom Posted August 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2010 i ordered gifts for a passenger through Bon Voyage. I knew their sailing date, ship and names. I didn't want to ask them for their booking number and ruin the surprise.
celticd1 Posted August 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Yes, you can order gifts up to 2 weeks before the sailing. You don't need to know their booking number or cabin number just full names, ship and sail date. They will also ask you which night you would like the gift to be delivered. . serene56 Posted August 16, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2010 I sent a gift to a friend on a cruise ONCE-- as a surprise she never received it and boy was it tough to get my money back after the cruise was over-- It took almost 3 1/2 months. Since you dont have their booking nnumber you would call the gift number-- have their names and ship and date and order it like that. Personally--I would give them the receipt as they can take care of it onboard if its not delivered.
lillian marie Posted August 16, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2010 It's a really nice idea. We had friends send us a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary one year. It was presented in the dining room on our anniversary.
