Mobile parking under overpass

The last time we sailed out of Mobile they were no longer letting people park under the overpass, but I have read a few people mention it lately. Anyone gone recently and parked under the overpass?

You can no longer park under the overpass. If you park at the terminal, it must be in the cruise terminal parking building or in the over flow parking at the Mobile Civic Center. Have you parked under the overpass before? That is an unsecured area and people have had there cars broken into there.

 

BTW, they just announced in the Mobile newspaper that the City of Mobile has purchased the property where the Amtrack Station used to be for use as Cruise Terminal overflow parking. This will be much better than the Mobile Civic Center because it will be just north of the cruise terminal within easy walking distance.

Yes, we have parked under the overpass. Twice, and had no problems.

I used to park under the overpass until they put up NO OVERNIGHT PARKING signs. It is much easier to park at the city garage for $7 per day.

Someone told me in Mobile when I was there, that that is where the employees park (under the overpass)

the employees from Cruise Services, TSA, and Immig park there,6 times a month..so they are there when you leave, and return..but not overnight..see
