Can you buy Smokes on board the Pacific Dawn, and if so how wide is the variety? or is it better to take your supply on board? If you buy them Duty Free in Noumea, do you get them straight away, or do they get delivered to the cabin on the last night, like the alcohol?

yes can you bye smokes on board, yes pretty good variety, yes you can bye duty free in Villa, the duty free shops will deliver them back to the ship and you will get them on the last night.

everytime we have been to Vila you can take your duty free smokes onboard and smoke them but you dont get the alcohol until the last night

You can take cigarettes on board with you and smoke them.Best place to buy them is Port Vila.You are only restricted on how many you can buy by the limits placed on you to bring them into oz.250 cigs per person unless it has changed.

Hi Val, as said above Villa is the best place but on ship quite good as well. Or you can buy single packs at any of the bars on the ship (not as cheap as cartons, duty free) but still lots cheaper than home. We used to get a few packs a day, every day, then bought the cartons at Villa/ship.So by the time we got home we had quite a supply....Prices from memory were $10per pk at bars on ship (that was for Longbeach 40's) $22 per carton Villa and $28 per carton duty free ship. it does not realy matter weather you let then(duty free shps ) take them back yo ship with your alcohol or you take your smokes back with you just saves you from having carry them around with you. you still get them:rolleyes:
