Apparently since we booked through Delta and the flight was oversold, AF cancelled us out.

 

When we went on AF we booked direct. I guess that must have made a lot of difference.

where did you get the day room? Do you remember the rate?

I've booked the Aranui 3 July 16, 2011 sailing. I was thinking of piggybacking it with a PG cruise that arrives on July 15, which would get us a "free" airfare from LAX. However getting that much time away from home is a problem. After much web research I can't find anything much cheaper than $1435 from LAX or $1544 from my Houston. Does anyone know of a way to get these costs down? Also how much time would be advisable pre and post cruise?

Where did you get a day room? I have been trying for our Feb 9 cruise and getting no where. Did they charge you the regular rate?
