If you have cabin 8004, but could get a balcony cabin for the same price would you do it or keep that extra large window cabin?

Thanks

Lynn

Miss Lynn, If you like balcony's go for the balcony cabin. It is so nice to sit on the balcony and sip a cup of coffee or tea and watch the ocean rush by. It is so relaxing.

Depends on what is more important to you.

We had 8004 on Mercury in March at the additional space was awesome! We had a lot more room than some people we met who were staying in a Sky Suite which were selling for almost triple what we paid for our "lowly" ocean view!

We ARE in 8004 on an upcoming cruise. We were in the other corner cabin on a previous cruise and loved the view and extra space. However, they make you close the drapes at night. Not big balcony fans so would not switch. Another factor would be the departure port. If going out of Baltimore in January, the balcony wouldn't be much use for the first and last day or so. Only downside to 8004 was that we really felt the motion of the ocean.

Happy Sails to You
