Ft Lauderdale Day hotel

Born to Cruise

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. We will be returning to FLL on the 24th of October after a wonderful cruise aboard the Solstice. Our flights do not leave Ft. Lauderdale until 4:40 pm. We have been to this city many times and just want a place to go after we disembark the ship. Really hate to think about spending 8 hours awaiting our flight at the airport. Does anyone know of any hotels that offer day rates for people in our predictament? Would appreciate any hotel that you may know of that gives a "day rate." Thanks loads for your help.

Cheers,

JoAnne

It took me a minute to find this - as I knew I had seen it before. Hope this helps.

Mollyanne, this is AWESOME:D...did you recently find it? In all the

years I have been on Cruise Critic I have never seen that site and

there are ALWAYS folks on the Florida Forum asking about Dayrooms!

Hope you don't mind if I post the link over there. I think it would

be VERY HELPFUL:)

I actually found it in the Florida forums. :) I had been referring people to the Ritz Carlton - which has a very good day rate - and then someone posted this chart.

I know it will take a multitude of phone calls but it's so nice to have this all in one place.

phone calls? Its worth it (to me anyway):)

We haven't stayed their either - walked by it a couple of times though! While their regular rate is pricey the day rate is $125 for up to 4 people - which I think is very reasonable - and sure beats a day in the airport!:)
