TinaLee Posted February 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Having read a post regarding the SOE upgrades on the Ryndam and the cost for coffee beverages (I assume this use to be free in the old Java Cafe?) could someone please fill me in on these charges?? We'll be on the Zaandam in a few weeks and I assume the costs will be the same. Did I read somewhere that it is Starbucks or Seattle's Best now? Thanks in advance - TinaLee (foo-foo coffee addict)
Mump Posted February 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2005 The coffee was about $1,50 each but I'm not 100% sure. They serve great cakes and cookies with the coffee (no charge) and yes, it's the Java cafe. I think it's Seattle's Best.
dakrewser Posted February 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Did I read somewhere that it is Starbucks or Seattle's Best now? Nothing so plebian. The Windstar cafe serves Torrefazione Italian coffees (although they're roasted in Seattle :) ) A "Large" cappucino cost me $1.75 - a lot less than a Starbucks "vente" - and a lot better tasting.
