Soda card costs

1st time cruisers on the NCL pearl wondering if the soda card is worth it. What is the cost for the card and what is the cost for soda on the ship? Is there a pre-purchase on the Pearl and is it worth it?

Generally, you'll need to drink the equivelent of 3+ cans of soda per day to make the soda card "pay" for itself. Otherwise, just buy a can of soda when you want one.

$6.25 a day plus 15% gratuity and it must be purchased the first day for the full week or however long your cruise...

you can bring on a 12 pack and save your money...just put it in the carry-on and take it on with you!

Bring your own sodas on board if you don't have to fly or just purchase them in port (same for bottled water) - most ships will charge you on average about $3.95 for a smaller bottle of Evian water plus the 15% gratuity. You can definitely get large bottles of water in port for about $1.00-1.50 (cheaper back home too)!
