brewcrew Posted October 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2010 We have booked both of these cabins and were wondering if they had couches or just chairs. We saw a YouTube video of 6626 and it only had a chair. We called RC and they said all rooms have a couch. Has anybody been in this cabin to help shed a little light on this for us? Thanks! SciFiCruiser Posted October 20, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2010 No personal experience with this ship, but if the cruise line itself told you all rooms have a couch, I would tend to believe them...although confirmation from an actual traveler would make me feel better too :D

On IOS there was a couch in all of that class room. It is a two person or 2 1/2 person couch. Freedom and Indepence are the same class ship. nannybeth Posted October 20, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2010 Is it a promenade room? If so then I believe it will have a couch and a window seat.
brewcrew Posted October 20, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted October 20, 2010 They are connecting rooms and we have them both booked. It is an e2, deluxe oceanview with a balcony. We were just concerned because the room shown on YouTube (6626)had a door where the couch would usually be and a small chair beside the connecting room door. Thanks for the replies! We had connecting rooms on the FOS 6302/6304 (I think) - no couch, just a single chair in both rooms to allow the door to open
ejayb Posted October 21, 2010 #8 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Just got off the Freedom and had connecting balcony rooms (8626/8628). They had chairs due to the door between the rooms. We were on the balcony all of the time, so the lack of couch didn't matter.
brewcrew Posted January 10, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Just got off the Freedom today and can verify that rooms 6326 and 6328 have a chair instead of a couch due to the connecting door. Also the pullman bed is over the queen bed.
