Wine Packages

and the selections haven't changed. They are drinkable but very bland. Last week we brought a case of our own wine and paid the $18 per bottle corkage.

If you really like wine, you will do better to bring your own and pay the corkage. The beverage staff are very cooperative in serving and pouring, but they will charge the fee.

My question is: they say the package will be delivered to your room. They mean the vouchers, no? Also, if you bring your own would they keep it for you in the restaurant or you have to go up with it and ask it to be opened?

Lastly, what is the difference between the wine packages and the package with tastings? Are they worth?

Thanks

We usually get the admiral's pkg. The choices are very drinkable. I like the Spellbound cab, and the Silverado sav. blanc. This is just easier than dragging a whole lot of bottles. We like to bring one or two very special ones along, they will charge the corking fee. They look at your receipt and the sommelier keeps track of how many bottles you have left. You can take the remainder of a bottle back to you room if you want or they will keep it till the next day.
