La Turbie?

Have you been to La Turbie from Montecarlo or Villefranche?

 

I have been reading about it and sounds as tho it is a beautiful place to visit- spectacular views and Roman ruins too.

 

Any cooments would be most appreciated. :)

We did La Turbie last year as it was on our way to Monte Carlo. It's a small, cute town with a main street that's maybe 3 or 4 blocks long. The view over the Mediterranean is very nice. We probably poked around the town for an hour or so. It's NOT a big tourist town. I personally think Eze, or St. Paul de Vence would be a higher priority to see before La Turbie. If you are passing through anyway, it's worth a quick stop. But I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to see it.
