tnr Posted October 28, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2010 I am booking our first Voyager cruise, and have read that we should stay away from the aft because of vibration issues. But, would there be any advantage to booking a category F mid deck 7 suite versus a G mid deck 6?
ridolphi Posted October 28, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2010 Not really, just a higher deck. We spent two weeks on deck 7 on one of our sailings and found it very convenient to everything. Deck 6 midship would be the same, just a deck lower, and less expensive. We were about to spend two weeks on deck six, but that was the ill fated Oct 3 cruise, so we only spent two nights in that suite.
Wendy The Wanderer Posted October 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2010 None at all, if they are both midship. They are all identical cabins. The midship deck 6 suites are highly coveted. We've sailed in them twice, and will again in, uh, 6 weeks. I actually like the lower deck, for reasons of stability.
TedC Posted October 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2010 If there's rough water the lower amidships cabins should get less movement. D-H cabins are identical in space, locations vary. I'd go for the G Have a wonderful cruise!
