On Carnival the main dining rooms are not open for breakfast and lunch on days in port. From what I've been seeing on the message boards it appears that the MDRs on HAL are open each day of the cruise. Can anyone confirm this?

MDR is not always open for lunch on port days. Your Daily Program will have the hours for each of the dining venues.

The MDR is always open for breakfast.

 

The Lunch schedule in port will vary by ship and destinations.

Welcome to Cruise Critic -- I just posted the dining room breakfast menu on another thread -- it's great that it is always open every day for breakfast.

Most port days -- 7:30 - 9 AM. Sea days - 8 - 9:30 AM. This can vary by ship.

The daily program that you get the evening before will list the times and days that the dining room will be open for lunch.
