Any info: "Barrier Reef Snorkel & Rendezvous Key Beach Break"

Is this an excursion that would be good for kids (ages 4 and 7) and one adult? My hubby is going off diving. My 7 year old is an excellent swimmer and snorkeler. We're working on my 4 year old, but we thought with a vest she'd be OK. Would the beach be fun for them?

Okay - so they make you wear life jackets. My DH is not going to like that at all!

 

Can someone direct me to great snorkeling in Belize where we can snorkel. I am so confused, because I hear you get tired if you snorkel from shore as opposed to snorklieing by boat. What is the best option in Belize?

Is this tour only thru the cruise lines or do any of the independant operators offer it?

 

We had been planning on the cave-tubing but now I am getting cold feet after reading about snakes and other things. :(

 

We have never snorkeled but is sounds like this excursion would be okey for first timers.

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated.:)
