greenscooter Posted November 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2010 Question for those who have booked this tour in the past: I tried to book the tour and got a quick response back from them saying they would be happy to book this tour for us; but, they want 4 people. Since we have only 2 of us, they want me to find atleast 2 additional people willing to go on the tour at $40 pp otherwise, they want $120 for 2 people. My question is: Should I take the chance that 2 more people will join us & book the tour? If nobody else signs up we will have to pay $120 which seems a little high for an island tour. Or, should I just wait until we get off the ship & try to join the tour then? They require a 20% deposit as well to ensure that you show up for the tour. I have booked plenty of non-ship tours on several cruises and it seems like I have only had this issue of "drumming up business" for the tour guides on Antigua & Dominica. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.......
OC PAT Posted November 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2010 I got the same response and I did book. I singed up for the tour that included snorkeling. Which one were you interested in? Since we are on the same cruise we might be work something out. OC PAT

Donna - dsw Posted November 19, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2010 Post on your Roll Call board and see if you can get some to join you - - that is what we did! Good Luck!
Sunny AZ Girl Posted December 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2010 Yes, if you have an active Roll Call getting a group together can be a lot of fun. Good friendships made on the Roll Call often become great friendships after spending some time together on a tour.
slomotion Posted December 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 25, 2010 We had the same experience but it was $100 for two. We accepted that and when we got there he sub out to "Richard" who was excellent. Richard's direct phone is (268) 786-4376. Tell him that Al & Alice recommended him.
