Alert for those booking with CAS

Should you receive a call from NCL sales department asking if you want to book a cruise, do not let them hold a room for you while you call CAS to finish booking! I just did this and was told by CAS that the original booking must expire [24 hours] before they could do anything. Sales Dept. had assured me that this would not happen. Luckily I did not give Sales Dept. my credit card number.

Something along this line would apply to just about anywhere. If you are planning to book with CAS, you need to call CAS.

Not NCL sales, not an online agency, not a TA.

By the way, assuming you were outside the final payment date, even if you gave them the credit card number, it could be cancelled and all money refunded. Still, it would make no sense booking with them, since they do not know what your rate would be if booking with CAS.

Okay, somebody is about to ask "what is CAS?"

Casinos At Sea.
