kids/parents/grandparents 4 or 5 days?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We are looking for a 4 or 5 day to the western caribbean.

I've heard that Royal now offers anytime dining? Is this so on all ships? We would be travelling with a 1,3, and 4 year old, with varying schedules.

My parents would be travelling with us and are very conservative so they would not be interested in any scantily clad booty shaking entertainment... Are there any ships doing the route we want that have an ice show?

And also an nice kids splash area/waterslides etc?

Does Royal have family activities... That moms and dads can do with their kids?

thanks so much!

thanks,

Yes Liberty of the Seas has just what you need, 6 day western itinerary with mytime dinning. Has a water park for the kids, great kids program, ice show's and skateing.

Navigator of the seas does a 5 day but doesn't have the splash area for the kids like the Liberty does. Still a wonderful ship.

Both ships have programs where the adults interact with the kids, it is lots of fun.

It is a wonderful ship and we sailed on her in August and had a wonderful time.

Happy sailing

I've never seen "booty shaking" entertainment on an RCI ship!

Only the Voyager and Freedom class have ice shows.

Only potty-trained kids (or adults!) in the pools. Some have a "baby zone".... Many will bring a blow-up pool (something small) for splashing and bathing....rooms only have showers, unless you're in a JS or above.

All ships are "family-friendly"...with things for the whole family to do. The 3 & 4 year old will probably enjoy the kid's club...the baby won't have that option, unless you're on Oasis.

Nana was referring to the carnival cruise she took last with the showgirls? said it didn't do much for her...

Thanks for the ship names.. will look em up on the site. Libery sounds nice.

3 and 4 year old are potty trained so they can go in main pool... but if theres a splash area he's be pleased.
