New Years Eve Cruise out of Baltimore

We are planning to go on the New Years Eve cruise out of Baltimore this year on Carnival. Gas anyone done a New Years Eve cruise and does Carnival do anything special on the ship for New Years Eve?

Last year I was on the Pride for New Years eve out of Baltimore. They had a big balloon drop in the atrium with a countdown and a fun dance party with free champagne on the pool deck with a countdown. A lot of people were dressed up for the occasion.

On my cruise, New Years Eve was not one of the regular formal nights. They were held on 2 other nights, but many people just got dressed up.

We'll be on this cruise too! Our wedding anniversary is Dec. 30 so we're celebrating both that and New Years Eve aboard the Pride. Can't wait...especially as it keeps getting colder and colder here in Maryland. And now the chance for snow :(
