Great review! Congrats on your casino winnings. You'll have to direct me to the exact machine, so I can try my luck in October! Sorry about the rough seas too. I'm happy you and your DH got some needed reconnect time together. You've been through so much, you deserved a grand vacation! Now, tell us more about this fantastic voyage!:)

wish we could have all met. We were on with you. We had a good time also.

dh also did well on the slots. He hit the 1 cent progressive, $1,542.56!!!!!.we came home with more than we left with.

the rocking and rolling didn't bother us.few drinks,go to bed. Thats the way to do it

HEY! That was mostly my money! :D Just kidding, but if it's the progressive I'm thinking about, it was on the far wall by the bar. (The machines may have even continued around a corner wall?) I tried often for that progressive, mainly because the machine I was playing would let me sit for hours and stay even or up a little. The one I usually sat at was at the right hand end of a row, just before the bar. It was by a swinging door that staff came in/out of occasionally.

CONGRATS to your DH on the win!

I so enjoyed your review! We were on the Legend the week prior to you (Dec 5th-12th) We also had the best time, and the weather was great on our cruise. I would have had a great time regardless, just like you did!!!The Legend is a very pretty ship, the urns do not bother me either! Did you happen to see Thomas Brown the comedian? He was FANTASTIC!! Congrats on your casino winnings!!!:)

Was it over by where the slot tourney was held? I remember playing that section of progressives and knowing it was over $1,500. Then one day it was down to $500. I knew someone had won it! CONGRATS! :D

I think it was a Triple Lucky something-or-other. (Gee, that's helpful, huh?!) When I finally realized what I'd won, my first words to DH were "My camera is in the room!" I had wanted to take a picture, darn it!

I don't know if I can direct you to the exact machine, but I "think" I can get you in the vicinity. If you are in the atrium facing the bar, there are two ways into the casino: one on the left and one on the right. Go in on the right. You'll pass a small non-smoking section on the right. Keep going straight until you see the Denver Duck machine, which is in a circular group of slots. Then back-track a few rows on your right. This machine was in an "angled" row; there were about 6-7 machines in this row, and the Triple Lucky (?) was about half-way down the row.

It is on the "side" closest to the atrium---not the sports bar.

Good luck!

Thank you so much! I think I'll be able to find it, and if not, I'll get close. Maybe the one I sit down at will be as lucky as yours!;)

Great pictures and review! Too bad about your foot injury and getting sea sick, but winning in the casino was awesome for you! That's too funny about the guy you met at Fat Tuesday's. I guess it really is a small world after all. Thanks for sharing!

Before reading the entire thread, I was going to ask the OP if they spent much time out on the balcony. :p So, how many lounge chairs are on this balcony?

There were two chairs on the balcony and a small table. Perfect size for the two of us, although we spent more time standing than sitting. :o

This was a nice review! Wish there were more pictures!

Thank you, Kalista! I have really sloooooow Internet service, so uploading photos is quite time consuming. I took several hundred pics but tried to only upload enough to give a feel for our cruise. The Legend is my favorite ship so far! :D
