New Suite Perk???

I just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Spirit and it seems that suite guests are now getting Zone 1 debarkation privileges. On Deck 4 aft, 4226, 4228, 4237 and 4235 all received Zone 1 tags while the remaining cabins in the area received Zone 8 tags. I don't know if this was an experiment on one ship or if it is fleet-wide, but my steward told me that it had been that way a few weeks.

 

I, for one, feel that if I need to get off the ship I might as well do it sooner rather than later.

They always got them. 1 or 2 zone. I get them too, being platinum, except I do self assist and am gone before they call the zones.

 

They have said that for more than a few weeks Im betting. Iv seen them for quite a while on multiple cruises. I think they used to just say priority?? Now they are zone 1?

DW and I both remember being in upper-numbered departure zones on previous cruises, which were always in 4228 or 4237. Sunday we were ashore around 8:30.

It might depend on the number of Platinum onboard.

VIP Embarkment and Disembarkment were always a perk. YOu can get off before the one group if you self disembark.
