Can you book for other cruise lines on a Carinval Cruise?

The reason I ask, is that when I did and RCCL cruise I booked a future cruise for RCCL and Celebrity because they are affiliated. I think (and could be totally wrong) that Princess is part of Carnival? Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks so much!

Carnival keeps all of their brands totally separated.

 

Wish the platinum benefits would carry thru the other brands but oh well.
