Key Lime Pie ??

Are you allowed to bring Key Lime Pie back on the ship if you were to buy a whole one? From what I know I would assume that you can't but just thought I would ask! Key Lime Pie is my favorite and I dont think I could go to the Keys and just have one piece! thanks!

Sure, you can bring things on-board, just not off. And Key West is easy - US port.

I know you can bring things back but I know like with fruit they wont let you. Just wondering if it was somethin that was wrapped up and sealed if I was allowed to. Id hate to buy it and then have to throw it away. Hope someone can answer for me!

The Last time we went to Key West was Jan 2010. As we were boarding to leave Key West, a lady did the same thing you intend to do. She bought a pie to bring onboard. Security told her sorry can't take it aboard. Either eat it or toss it.

I'd tell you to try to bring it aboard but don't count on it.

I would just ask security as you disembark and then you won't be surprised as you reboard.

 

Then you will have a definite answer.
