Have Muster Drills changed in the last 5 year?

Last time we sailed was 5 years ago... just wondering if the life jackets are still part of the drill.

At present Lifejackets need not be on you. They will demo how to put one on etc... Everyone still is required to attend the muster drill though.

Not only do life jackets not need to be on you, you do not need to bring them at all.

In October on the MOTS, we did not need life jackets to attend the briefing.

Well that's good news. They were really very uncomfortable especially if it was hot outside. We did get some hilarious pics of us though. Thanks for the info.:)

Taking pictures of each other standing around with a life jacket on was always one of the highlites of the week!
