anyone know? the price of a taxi from ship to airport? what hotels are close to pier? thanks

Taxi port to TPA (or TPA to port) is a flat rate of $25+tip if I remember correctly; ride takes about 15 minutes or so, depending upon traffic. Good luck! :)

Using Google, select "Maps"...then search for "Channel District Tampa Fl"...when that map appears, search for "hotel" and they will be marked on the map...put your cursor on a mark and you will get name and contact info for most of them.

check out chase suites hotel - good review on trip advisor, snooze and cruise package includes transportation to and from airport and cruise ship and breakfast buffet - we got a studio for only $110 - plus it has free shuttle within a 5 mile radius if you need to pick anything up. Bahama Breeze is right door.
