Yes there were, and it was delicious..... Along with all the other food as well....

How was your cruise? How was the weather? was the water calm or rough? what did you do in port. I am leaving on 3/12 and any info would be great. What cabin did you have?

After all the pre-cruise postings and your rallying to get the group together, sadly we didn't see you or any of your group show up at the Meet & Mingle --that just left more raffle prizes for the few of us that DID show up!! Hope all is well.

Was wondering if anyone missed us... We left even before I got the confirmation email, but did get the invitation in our room... Feel terrible I missed the Meet and Mingle.. Can't remember what happened that night that made us miss it....

Our cruise was great... It was alittle windy the first couple of days we all thought. Can't say it was rough, but we did feel the ship moving alot.

 

All of us were happy with our cabins. We had a D1 on the 9th deck.. But my nephew had a Jr. Suite, that was really nice. Others had E1s.

 

St. Thomas we got an open air jeep for all 19 of us and went to Sapphire beach. Was nice but all wished we had gone to Megan's Bay afterward. St. Maaten we did a ship excurtion to Divi Little Bay Resort. Had a great time there too. Antiqua, we got off the ship and got a bus to take us on a little tour and then to a beach. Can't think of the name of the beach though....

 

St. Lucia went to see the volcano and waterfalls, was a long bus ride.... It rained there so no beach that day. Barbados was our favorite island, we went to a little not so known beach, where we have gone several times before, called Acra Beach... Love it there.

 

The shows were all pretty good. Disappointed though with the juggling show... Dinner was good every night... Had plenty to eat. Our waiters were great. Brought us out anything we wanted.. Some us of ordered a couple of each item....

We stayed at the Caribe Hilton pre and post cruise... If you are staying there, make sure you request and then demand that you get a Renovated Tower room....

 

After booking several months prior with the Reservation Manager himself, needlesstosay we were not happy. We got there around 11am,2 days before the cruise and were told to come back at around 3pm, rooms weren't ready. When we went back at about 2:30 they said theyhad given all the renovated rooms away, they didn't know we were there since 11am.

 

To make a long story real short, after arguing for about an hour, showing several confirmation emails received from Andres Korngold, the manager, who they say conveniently wasn't available, I finally got the rooms we were promised......

 

The rooms we finally got were beautiful... and the pools and beach were also.
