Need some Advice

I'm sailing out of Port Canaveral for the first time and doing it solo and could you use some help in which way to go.

 

Flying into Orlando the day before do I stay in Orlando for the night or go to port Canaveral ??

 

Best way to get from Orlando to the Port Canaveral or where to stay in Port Canaveral

 

Any help would be fantastic

I would stay in Port Canaveral. Rent a car at Orlando airport and drop it at the port, Many of the hotels have shuttle to the pier. Or keep the rental car overnight (if you want to go out and explore) and take the rental shuttle to the port.

We usually rent a car, from Budget (can rent from airport and return in Port Canaveral) and stay at the Radisson at the Port.

 

But. If you're not wanting to drive yourself, you can do what my Mom and I did for our cruise. We flew into Orlando the day before, stayed at the hotel right there in the airport (I believe it is a Radisson also) and then took Royal Caribbean's transportation to the cruise ship the next morning. Super simple, and I didn't have to worry about driving us around.
