I have talked to people who have stayed in a Sky Suite and really liked it. Also, have heard great reviews of the Family Ocean View with Veranda cabins. Has anyone stayed in both cabins and can offer a comparison?

 

I am looking for comments about the rooms, balconies, location of the cabins, perks for the Suite, etc.

 

Need to make a decision and any assistance would be appreciated.

On M Class ships, the Sky Suite is just one big room whereas the Family Stateroom has a separate "master bedroom" and living room with fold out sofa for the kids. The Sky Suite gets butler service, the Family Stateroom does not. The balcony on the Family Stateroom is usually larger. Be aware, you are going to need to have more than 2 in your party to reserve a Family Stateroom. IMO, if I were traveling with my kids, I'd definitely go for the Family Stateroom.
