Question on arrival time in SJU

Hi all, My db and sil are flying into SJU for a cruise in October. Their plane lands at 3:30. Will that give them enough time to catch the ship. We always fly in the day before as we come from the West Coast. Thanks for any help.:)

Should be enough time if they are on time and everything goes according to plan - port is maybe 20-25 minutes from Luis Munoz airport..........we always fly in a day or two early in San Juan - we love to stay in the Condado Beach area and enjoy the beach and nightlife.............have fun!

What time does the ship sail?

 

The last time I flew into San Juan my flight was delayed causing me to miss my connecting flight and by the time I got there it was midnight. I would not take the chance; go a day early.

I think you HAVE to be onboard by 5-5:30 (at least we did in December). So, if EVERYTHING goes perfect they should be OK. As in, no take-off delays, no luggage delays, etc.

 

If they have a connection, I'd be more worried since things can really go wrong.

The ship leaves at 8:30, I couldn't remember what the latest boarding time was. Thanks for your posts.
