tell me everything about Chankannaab Park

is it a like a park with animals roaming? a beach? both? are there restaurants there? i cant seem to find much information as far as "its great!" we're traveling with a 2.5 year old, so i need to make my plans accordingly.

beach, restaurant, walking trail with replicas, sea lion show (was closed the day we were there)

 

we swam with sea lions and swam with the manatees (coolest thing I have ever done in my life) :D (we booked private excursion directly thru the part)

Try their website (just enter the name in a search engine) and also look at www.cozumelinsider.com. They have a coupon for $2 off entry. It is a great place and there are many posts with pics on CC. Have a great time if you go!~!

There is a beach with beach chairs and umbrellas. There are several places to eat. Most of the beach has a rock wall with occasional stairs to the water. There was one section with a regular beach type "zero entry" to the water. There is also a pool. I have tried to attach the map which might make it more clear...not sure if it will work.

Hello,

I have question regarding swimming with the manatees. How deep was the water? I am not a good swimmer and very short. We swam with the stingrays one year and it was very rough and very deep.

 

But I would love to be able to be up close to a manatee.

 

Any info would be appreciated.
