Galveston Rci transfers

Can anyone here tell me if they have used the Royal Caribbean Transfers and how they work? I am looking at crusing from Galveston, but all the transfer options seem quite high. If you want to stay the night before, do they bring you to your hotel of choice, or do you have to book the hotels they prefer?

Transfers are only from the airport to the port and back. I used one back to the airport, but took other means to get to my hotel.

 

I dont think they offer transfers the day before your cruise either. Only the day of your cruise to the port. (otherwise you could book it and then take a taxi to your hotel in Galveston)

 

So the answer is yes, I used one .. but only from the cruise ship back to the airport. One way.

Does anyone know how much the RCI transfer costs and what time it leaves the pier the morning the ship docks? I want to book a 1:50 pm flight out of Houston Hobby.
