no car in Fort Lauderdale

We will be flying in Sunday for a Monday cruise. We dont want to rent a car for only a couple of hours on the Sunday we come in. What is the best hotel to stay at as far as transportation from the airport to the hotel and then transportation to the port Monday morning?

Check with your hotel, they may provide a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the pier the next day. If not, most hotels aren't far from the airport or the pier, just hop in a cab.

I stayed at the Marriott Hotel and Marina last month for my pre-cruise stay. They did not provide transportation from the airport to the hotel, but did provide a free shuttle to the pier the next day.

We have stayed at a hotel in FLL - really listed as Hollywood, FL - a comfort INN - very nice they have airport shuttle and shuttle to pier as well so you don't need a car - good prices and it includes a nice breakfast we have stayed there 4 different times, twice over Christmas for a cruise and twice in summer, going again for day before June 12 cruise
