How to transfer a booking

Last week we booked a sailing (Celebrity Eclipse) directly through the cruise line, as the price was the same and none of the TAs we were watching were offering incentives.

 

Now, of course, one of the big online TAs is offering an OBC for our sailing.

 

How would I go about transferring the reservation to the online TA and would they typically honor the OBC for a transfered booking?

Talk to the online TA to verify you will get the OBC they are offering. If you are satisfied, ask them to arrange the transfer.

I've tranferred a land tour in the past, not a cruise, but in doing so I got the agency number from the TA and either called or wrote to the tour company - I hope this helps.

 

Ask the travel agent, you cannot be the first person to do the transfer.
