Kayaking in the North Shore Oahu area??

We would like to kayak while our 6 night stay on Oahu. Has anyone done this? and if so did you kayak on your own or with a tour guide.

 

We will be staying in the North Shore area May 2011. We welcome any suggestions or ideas.

You might try contacting SurfnSea, they have a website. They are in Haleiwa and rent kayaks. May should be a pretty nice time to kayak North Shore. Another popular spot for kayaking, with and without guides, is Kailua. Cherie
