Question For Ruth C

Ruth and anyone else who has done the Transatlantic,

 

Can you remember how many formal nights you had on the way over last year on the 17 day leg.

 

Was it three or four. Just trying to work out clothes for the trip. I know it is early but I like to be organized. ;) ;)

Four, IIRC. We had eight in total---that I do remember correctly.

It was the same total on the cruise the year before, too.

If you like I can dig out the daily programs and be absolutely, positively correct, but that's no guarantee for this year. :rolleyes:

Plan on a Black and White Ball one night. Women usually dress accordingly. Men, of course, can go traditional tux or dinner jacket.

Thanks Ruth for the info. That is what I had planned on for the whole cruise too and have my list pretty much made out. Nothing like planning way ahead!!

I'm sure I'll be in the same ol'-same ol'. I pack a black skirt and four sparkle tops. Repeat as necessary. ;)

You always come up trumps! ;) I will pack my long black skirt and various tops as usual. Peter always brings along a couple of different bow ties to wear with his dinner suit. Men always look so handsome in their formals. :)
