Price of parking- Sheraton Biscayne Bay

Does anyone know the price of parking at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay? I'm looking to stay there, but heard that the price of parking is in the $20 range. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

I believe it's $18 plus tax so $20 or so is probably pretty close. I don't know how soon you're planning on staying there, but keep in mind that that hotel is closing on June 17 to be torn down for more condos.

We are staying May 13, pre-cruise, and I called the hotel twice to ask how much parking was. I got the same answer on 2 different days, $23.00. I didn't ask it there was tax on top of that, argh!, Probably is tax too! I can't complain, as I got the room on Priceline for $55. plus the taxes to make it just under $70, but then when you add in the parking fee for $23. it is right up there with some of the other prices. We decided to rent from Budget from Ft. Lauderdale airport, then return the car at the Sheraton drop off Budget to save the parking fee, and just take a cab to the port in the morning.

We stayed at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay last time we cruised. I really liked the hotel and the location. I have been searching for a room this time around and it is coming up that there are no rooms available. Does anyone know if something is going on Jan 13, 2006?

No, I mean the Sheraton Biscayne Bay hotel will physically no longer exist in January 2006. It's closing on June 17, and will be torn down. They're replacing it with high rise condos.

We were thinking of renting a car also at the FLL airport. Does Budget have a drop off right at the Sheraton? Thank you any info would be helpful. Diane

The dropoff for Budget is across the street from the Sheraton. (That is what they told me when I called the Sheraton). They are only open until 4:00 PM, so you need to return the car to them before that time, or keep it until sometime in the morning. They do charge $23.00 for parking at the Sheraton, just so you know.
