AMA Waterways Rhine & Mosel

We're just about to book the Vineyards of the Rhine & Mosel on AMA for the first week of June. They're running a 2-for-1 offer that looks too good to pass up; the cruise portion is $1,857 per person in a balcony room mid-ship.

 

I'd just about given up on a river cruise this year because they all seemed to be booked up early and the only cabins left were quite expensive, so I was floored when this came along.

 

Am I missing something? As in, when it seems too good to be true, it probably is?

I would grab it at that price. Before we booked our Tauck River Cruise, we compared AMA's Rhine/Moselle and it was a lot more than what they quoted you.

That is an excellent price. I am surprised there are any cabins even left.

The deal is only for this one sailing, which leads to me think there was a large group that had to cancel for some reason.

We booked it! Now I'm moving on to figuring out how to get to Luxembourg (we're not taking the pre-cruise trip to Paris) and finding a hotel there for the night before the cruise.
