RAH Posted March 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2011 We woke up one morning to find a large sea bird, the size of a duck, on our balcony. We were in the Captain's Suite on the Liberty. The bird was unable to fly away - it would spread its wings and start to run, but run out of room before it could fly - beause of the railings. Carnival came and gently removed the bird so it could be safely set free.
ib4cruzn Posted March 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2011 My guess is a Frigate Bird.
Frank12 Posted March 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2011 They probably took it to the galley and served it up that evening as roasted duck! :p

mcwebber Posted March 19, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 19, 2011 The bird was unable to fly away - it would spread its wings and start to run, but run out of room before it could fly - beause of the railings. Next time, get a bigger balcony with a runway.
