jillofalltrades...The CP docks in Mahogany Bay and there's a great zipline right across from the port area Clip N Zip cost about $45 pp. lasts around an hour. You can do this before heading to Gumbalinda or on return. There is a web site and also some youtube videos if you google/bing clip n zip.

We spent the day at Gumbalumba last summer. They have an all in one package price that includes going through the museum, visiting the zoo area and then doing the zip lining. Remember to bring bug repellent, the bugs are nasty. They will drive you up on the hill where the zip lining is done. There are 12 stations that go down the hill and it took us (4 in the family about 1 1/2 hours to do the 12 stations. Lots of fun and there is a pool at the end of the last section that you have use of by buying the entire package. We had lots of fun. Hope that helps.

The tour picks you up from the ship, our guide gave us a tour along the drive to the top of the 'mountain'. The zip-line crew was extremely nice and patient with everyone. They were attentive to everyone and safety was a huge issue. They do have a photographer that takes your picture on one of the last lines. The cost I believe was $10. The photographer printed the photo for you and then put it on the memory stick in our camera. The walk through the park was not a hard walk, paved paths with some stairs, a swinging bridge and included photo ops with monkeys and tropical birds. The photographers on site took tons of pictures and the guides snapped pictures with our own camera. The Photographer's photos were available for a reasonable price $20? for all of the pictures they took and they burned a CD right on the spot. All of that money goes back into the park. There are lockers, and nice restroom/changing areas and snack bar. The trip back was nice to be able to see more of the island which offers beautiful views. We will do this excursion again for sure. We didn't swim but the beach was very nice (the last line ends on the beach) and plenty of people were taking advantage of it.
