Castries to SANDALS GRANDE how far in a Taxi

Can anyone tell me how long a taxi ride is from the port at Castries to the Sandals Grande..we are planning on spending the day there and wanted to know how far it is, thanks

The drive is approximately 20min to 30mins dependant on the traffic.

It is a rough ride though. Up and down mountains and I remember it being more like 50 minutes. Very hard rise.

The ride from Port Castries to Sandals Grande is almost entirely on flat, with only some small hill areas. It is in the most populated area of the island and as such can take longer than it looks on a map. It is generally about 20-30 minutes and runs around $30-$40US for 4 people.

 

If you were coming from another part of the island, then yes, the ride would cover a lot of mountains and be a bit more of a rough ride. But, the cruise ships dock in Castries, which is in the north and right near all the main resort areas.
