Radiance of the Seas - 3/28/11 to 4/2/11 Long review

Recommended Posts

That does it for the pics. as I mentioned my camera battery ran out before I could get all the interiors I wanted. Next up - cruise compasses and adventure ocean material. I have been struggling with scanning in docs and getting them to appear full screen (or at least larger than a thumbnail.) Any advice? Thanks for reading!

Thanks for taking the time to post your review and pics. We were on the Radiance right after you, we had a wonderful time too. The only complaint we had was the lack of ice cream cones, there were only bowls by the ice cream machines. Other than that it was an awesome cruise and luckily we had great weather the whole time.

Addicted2 - Ha! Sorry about the cones. We had them and maybe we used them all. I have had that complaint from previous cruises so i know the irritation. Thanks for reading!

Maddog59 - Hope you have a great enjoyable cruise! Thanks for reading and commenting!

Thanks for the review.

I'm a little disappointed at the thought of a long line for MTD when showing up at reservation time. Do they try to seperate the line into those with reservations and those just showing up and try to get those reserved in ahead?

Is there a "better" time to show up, independent of reservations, that more people are in shows, etc and it's easier to get into the MTD room? We have 7:15 reservations every night but might prefer regular dining where we can walk in and sit down if MTD presents us with a line.

CP3o - The only time we had a line for MTD was the night of formal. We went to the MDR right when a show let out and I think it was the double whammy of formal night/show that caused the line. We ate in the MDR 3 of the 5 nights of the cruise. On the 3 nights we ate there we did not have to wait at all and were immediately seated. Our orignal reservation was for 7pm but we never got there at that time, usually later. There is one line for MTD but I would inquire when you board at the maitre'd station as to their procedure. I am sure that reservations get priority. One night I wanted to change the reservation to 630pm but they were full and couldnt accomodate us so we went at 730 or so and walked right in. So overall it was a very easy process with no wait times.
