Craps

Recommended Posts

Casino is closed while in port until you get to international waters.

It closes on the last night about 3-4am.

No free drinks in the casino like you do in vegas or atlantic city.

Craps table is always popular at night time

Thanks for the replies. This is for a 7 day cruise so I'm hoping for the lower table limits.

Does anyone know how many craps tables the Valor has?

I don't think I've seen more than one on any of the deck plans.

1 craps table. Not too hard to get on it. Most of the time you can just walk up to it and get in. $5 min. The only time you couldn't get on was when it was running hot.... but hopefully you are already on when that happens.

I think on our sailing they had $3 Blackjack on the first night but I can't remember if that was the Valor cruise or not. It may have been $3 craps too but again it may be cruise dependent on if they offer the lower limits first night (they are trying to get people into the casino...)

i was on the pride. i think they had 1 craps table. all the table games looked like they had $5 minimum. i kept checking the craps table because i wanted to play at $5 but it always had a $10 minimum. it was the only game that wasn't $5.

Conquest had $5 Craps, but usually only in the evenings. Another man and I both asked one day about 5pm and they told us to come back later in the evening. Usually no problem getting on, but I got frustrated at the speed of the table. I think there were several people and a dealer all trying to learn the game. My end of the table was ready, and the other end took about 5 minutes per roll even when it wasn't a comeout roll.

When we were on our 8 night Freedom cruise in late February, they had 1 craps table and each night/day was $5 minimum bet. It was usually pretty full (depending on if it was hot or not) more at night time. You'd see it busy when the early seating was done, then the late seating would start and it'd clear out a little, and then get busy again once the late seating let out. Then it was really hopping!
